Grants-in-Aid info session (01/26/2016)

As the Grants-in-Aid (GIA) application deadline is approaching, Mr. Victor Ogunmola kindly offered us an information session about the GIA application and statistics. Victor is a geologist from ExxonMobil, and he serves as a GIA committee member. The talk was held in the reading room in SR1 building from noon to 1 pm on Jan 26, 2016. He shared many insights and tips on how to submit a successful proposal for the Grants-in-Aid.

Recently the EAS department has seen an increasing trend of the number of GIA applicants and, more significantly, the recipients. This is largely in part to the efforts of Mike Unger and Victor Ogunmola, who deserve a special thanks. We should keep the trend and conduct great research.

Firm deadline for the Grants-in-Aid application and transcript submission is 11:59 pm PST on Monday, February 15, 2016.
